I just picked up a SLATQ that looks like it has been sitting on a wall for a while so the neck is a bit dry. It has a oiled mahogony neck. Anyone know what kind of oil Jackson used for the back of the neck? Thanks!
Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil is what they use on their maple necks. It's a gunstock oil that's pretty easy to find. I think even Wal-Mart carries it. Pretty sure they used the same stuff on the oiled mahogany necks, but someone else here may know better.
