EMG 89 owners,i need some info?

I was considering getting a 89 for the bridge spot of my one jackson DK1
I already put a newer 81TW in the neck spot and want a splittable bucker in the bridge as well other than the 81TW(dont like the 81 in the bridge spot)
does the 89 have the same tone as the 85 in full humbucking mode?

It is extremely close. There are some differences but not that much. I really like the 89 in the bridge.

Yeah, it sounds pretty damn close to it. Good sounding pickup. You shouldnt be disappointed.
