Ok so i want a 7 string if im honest but i don’t have the cash atm, so my rg 470 became my genie pig.
On the advice of my local music shop i first fitted set of 11 gauge strings (Ernie Balls). they were ok but i ended up with lots of strange notes in odd places adn the old g string just did nto feel right. That set of strings had to go.
So i go back to my normal 9's with an extra low b and lost the high e.
Magic, all the low notes and none its none of the odd tunings. tbh i think i made mess setting up the original 11's but the 9's are just like a normal with a string low for a high.
