Just for the record I did try searching first

I just picked up a 4 x 12 cab with no markings for the inputs, there's 2 in the back. It's a Sonic cab which they don't make anymore so support from them is out and nowhere on the cab does it state impedance or anything, just that it has Celestions. Do I need to take the back off and check it out or can I measure with and ohm meter at the jack to find out what it is and what the other jack is for, Mono / Stereo ? Extension ?

I'm getting 12 ohms ? If I measure the speaker on my Mesa I get 8, which is what it is. So 12 dosen't seem right, blown speaker? I never heard of a 12 ohm cab, just 4 / 8 and 16's. SO, I went ahead and opened it up - What's inside is:

4 Celestion G12S-50 speakers marked 15 ohm and what appears to be wired in series/parallel combination so I'm taking this to be a 16 ohm cab?
The 2nd output jack just ran off the other one. The speaker magnets also say:

Foxhall Road
IPSwitch Suffolk
England

Can I assume they are not chinese?
