#0000 steel wool and some fretboard oil. remember to tape off your pickups with masking or painters tape and rub with the grain. you don't want steel wool shavings getting into the coils. the steel wool cleans the gunk and buffes the frets, then wipe the strands of steel wool off and oil last. don't let the oil sit more than 5 mins and wipe off the excess.
you can also use the steel wool to clean the grit out of the finish on the back of the neck by using a new piece and rubbing up and down lightly just a few times.

Welcome to the forum. This has been discussed before. Anything with mineral oil, such as lemon oil, vaseline, baby oil, even motor oil will work. Here's some info in the sticky at the top of this section.
If you use the search function, you'll find more info on what other people use.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
