Need Some help with pickups

Hi guys, I just started playing a while ago and was looking to upgrade.

I'm trying to get a better metal tone (i.e. Bullet for My Valentine) out of my Jackson JS30RR Rhoads JS Series Electric Guitar.
Will buying an EMG 81 (Body) and 85 (Neck) Active p.u.
make any significant difference?

If you really dig your guitar, go for it.

EMG's really change the sound of a guitar, so in your case, that is a good thing.
They are a great investment, because even if you get a new guitar later on, you can yank them out very easily.

Nothing wrong with putting those pups in that guitar. If you got a good piece of wood and a good neck go for it. It will improve the sound greatly.

81 coupled with a high gain amp will give you the sound you're after.

I would put the 85 in the Bridge, and get a 60 neck
