fender pickups

hey i got a question about putting some of these: http://accessories.musiciansfriend.c...Set?sku=301637 on my jackson dinky. I just want to know if they'd fit and hook up right.

they will fit. i use fender pickups in a lot of my guitars. they are easier to connect too, because you have 2 wires....a black one and a white one. those will sound really sweet, but they will hum with hi-gain - but i have never found the right "strat" sound unless i am using fender single coils.

the next closest were the SD antiquity strat pickups.

anyway, i ramble. they will fit....and sound great!!!

Well i dont really play on too high of gain, well my gain is always maxxed but its not one of those metal gainy amps.

The one thing im curious about is how 2 of the single coils will sound + my humbucker, because im not taking that out. Then im left with an extra pickup for spare i guess.

Im almost forever in the neck pickup position so im thinking ill get an epic sound.

Why don't you just buy the two you need, middle and neck, used, from ebay?

I have the Fender Hot Vintage noiseless ones and I can use those with my high gain channel with very little hum, if any. I really like the sound of them. The only problem is they have that little wing in the middle so they'll only fit on certain guitars.
