Question about EMG 89 wiring...

hey guys. I wanna replace my 85 with an 89 in the neck position. Now, do I need a special push pull 25k pot, ot can I just use a little throw switch from radio shack?!?

Im reading the diags at EMG, and I cant get a straight answer.

any help is appreciated!

sry, i should be more clear. I already have EMG's installed. I just need to know if I need to buy anything fancy in order to activate the single coil mode, or if a regular mini toggle switch from an electronic store would work...

Either a mini toggle or 25k push/pull pot will be fine.

TJ; the mini toggle doesnt need to be anythign special correct?!? Ive done this many timnes on reg pups, but EMGS throw a monkey wrench in, but im learning to LOVE their sound, it works great with my setup!

I don't think it needs to be anything special, just a standard two-way DPDT switch (double pole/double throw), but you may want to email Rick at EMG just in case.
