    Hi, i´m not fan of clean my guitar, for ages i was cleaning the body with furniture cleaner

    i know that it´s depends on the material that was build but, whats recomends me to clean parts by parts (body, nacar inlays, etc)

        I like bore doctor for the fretboard, 0000 steel wool if the frets need a 'light' polishing - also 'lightly' on an unpainted neck. For the body I use virtouso polish.
        Enjoying a rum and coke, just didn't have any coke...

            I tried pledge once. The citrus in it left a sticky film on the guitar body. I use this when I can find it although it's getting herder to find these day, but it's perfect..



            Also, about twice a year, I give my guitars a nice waxing with a good quality car wax. Usually Turtle Wax or Race Glaze.

              I've used furniture polish for years with no problems. I don't do it every week though, just when I can be arsed. So, about once or twice a year.
