Normally, when you replace a humbucker (Dimarzio Tone Zone in this case), the coil with the screws are closer to the bridge than the coil with the poles, correct?
Would it matter if it is flipped the other way?
I'm wondering because I'm using a push/pull to split the coils and the pole piece coils stays on and the screw coil shuts off, I'd rather have the coil closer to the bridge stay on so I can get a twangy-er/thinner sound when I split.
any opinions would be appreciated, thanks.
