Converting regular Strat to double fat

I have an American Strat with three singles and I had been interested in putting a single coil sized humbuckers but I took up the pickguard yesterday and discovered I have a large open cavity so I can do regular humbuckers instead. I was going to do a Full Shred in the neck and an Invader in the bridge. Will all I need to do is get a new pickguard, the pickups and a three way switch to replace the five way? Anything else I need to worry about?

I think you may want to change the pots and capacitors to different values as the stock ones are set up to take some of the bite out of the single coils and may leave your humbuckers sounding a bit dark.

As a general rule use 500k pots for humbuckers and 250k pots for single coil pickups.
