Can anyone give me some pickup suggestions?

Picked up a 375 about 2 weeks ago. Have it 3/4 done will be modded to kawasaki green as the original body was just not savagable for a trans paint job.

Need some suggestions on single coils. Something with a nice heavy sound but some good high end as well.

I'd go for hotrails personally, but they're not singlecoils...

I've been using Fender Vintage Noiseless and really like them. I can get a great clean sound without any hummmmm.

That Dimarzio YJM is the best balls-to-the-wall stratty neck pup I've ever heard. It's double stacked, though.

I personally like low to medium output neck and middle pickups with less bass to offset the tonal qualities of their respective positions.

This is after having used Cool Rails, Lil 59's, Vintage Rails, SSL-5, SSL-2, VV 401, EMG-S, AND EMG-SAs.

With this in mind I'd recommend :

SD Hot Strat Stack
SD Pearly Gates (this is a custom shop order for single coil size)

Dimarzio Fast Track 1
Dimarzio VV 54' Pro
Dimarzio VV Blues
