Hi,
I have a Jackson RR24 Snow White.
Now ive been playing it about a month or two, its my first floyd rose, but it didnt seem right. When I was changing the strings the other day I got told to level the bridge etc so it makes the whammy easier and lighter etc etc..
Now after doing that, then putting it back together I had a gap between my strings and the fret board, not a massive one but one that hurts when I play it.
Ive been trying everything playing around with springs in the back even looking into the truss rod but still no luck.
I managed to get it down a little but theres still this gap, my local shop wants £75 for a service which is shocking.
Can someone please help me...
I will post up some pics tomorrow to help you understand but if you have anything I can try etc it would be appreciated.
The gap is around 3-5mm, I like it low, even with a little buzz so its easier to play.
Thanks and look forward to a helpful reply.
