are grover machine heads jackson replacements?

my RR5 was "repaired" a few years ago with ping tuners. they suck balls and i've always hated them. i think i want some grover machine heads or jackson factory replacements (in chrome, not gold). does anyone know if the grovers require redrilling of the jackson headstock?

question 2: has anyone here purchased factory replacement parts directly from jackson before?

Jackson doesn't sell replacement parts.
As for replacement tuners, Jackson uses rebranded Gotoh tuners with Schaller pegs.
No need to redrill anything.
