OFR bar swap on JT580 LP???

Can I put an OFR bar and housing on a JT580 LP? What is involved with that swap?

The OFR bar doesn`t fit/screw all the way down, so you are in risk of breaking it..

You mean you would have the original Floyd base plate and the original floyd bar..

No.. I think he's talking about putting an OFR arm and socket on a JT-580 base.
Short answer, yes it will fit.

Yeah, I recently replaced the arm and housing on a Korean Floyd with OFR parts. Now it stays tight. The question is could I do the same with a JT580 LP? I guess the answer is yes, right?

Just wrap the original bar (the one under the screw that mounts it under the housing) with PTFE and holds bomb tight
