Jackson Performer PS3 tune-o-matic

I have an old Jackson PS3 and the tune-o-matic bridge is collapsed. What I'm wondering is if the bridge is a standard size. Does anyone know who made the bridge that originally came on there? Thanks for the help.

I don't know the answer to your question but what do you mean by collapsed?

I would venture a guess that the bridge itself was probably a Gotoh. The machine heads and other tremolos have traditionally been Gotoh made.

This happens a lot when there is too much string down pressure on the bridge. My LP Classic needed a new bridge because of this (was like that when I bought it used).

Take some measurements,(string spacing, etc) and go from there.

Go with TonePro.. you can't beat them for quality and craftsmanship.

Those old, thin JT-390 TOM bridges suck! The newer ones are better, and thicker, but the post holes are a little smaller... they'll fit on the older posts if you pound on it hard enough, but you may have a bit of a problem removing it.
