HC is the only site to even call it that model.
MF listed it as a DX10... no X
Jackson has no listing in any catalog for a DX10X.

A search of MF site from 2001/2002 on webarchive shows no listing for a DX10X either. Just a DX10D and a DX10.
Guitar Center clearly called it a DX10X when I bought it. In fact, I made a thread on here some years ago about how they had a DX10X labelled as a DX10D, and priced at $399.00 instead of $349.00, and how they refused to correct it after I told them several times.

My former guitar pictured above was definitely marked as a DX10X by GC, and they had plenty more in stock at the time, also marked as DX10X. It's also an exact match for both the description and image posted by the OP.

I understand where you're coming from, but I'm quite positive about this. Granted, GC might have gotten it wrong, but I remember this pretty well.

Theres a better picture of that trem in http://www.guitar-museum.com/guitar-...lectric-Guitar . I just traded a Charvette for a Kelly Ke4. It has the string trough trem also.
