Buzz and string type

Hello!

I am aware that heavier gauge stings and string with higher tension buzz less if the other factors such as action, truss rod and nut/bridge are unchanged. Do you have any observations how the string type (nickel, flat wound, etc.), the material (steel, nickel, bronze) and the brand affect the amount of buzz?

Thicker strings will tend to buzz less because they vibrate in a smaller circle.

Beyond that, no, I haven't.
