Construction - Neck through
Neck - 3pc maple, rosewood fretboard, matching headstock veneer on front and back, tortoiseshell binding with ivoroid side block markers, 24 stainless steel frets
Body - mahogany w/quilt maple cap, tortoiseshell binding
Hardware/configuration - 1 hum (Zebra Duncan Alternative-8), Gold OFR and hardware
Finish - Tiger eye burst

Quick mockup with the locking nut; when I make a matching headplate, I try to save some of the cutoffs to make the truss rod cover whenever possible.

Back from paint!



My customer already has a Galaxy V with an oiled neck, so since this one was fully finished, I asked him yesterday if he wanted a satin finish on the back of the neck. He was down with it, so I knocked that out after leveling the frets:

and then.... (noANDTHEN!) I noticed a smiley face in the grain. Cracked me the fuck up.
