Completed - Koa topped '71

Spanish cedar body and neck, koa top, matching headplate and truss rod cover, 2 ply (white/tort) binding, Ebony fretboard, hollow block inlays, stainless steel frets, Habanero "secret menu' humbucker in the bridge, Habanero classic in the neck, wraparound bridge.

Soooooo prettyyyyyyyyyy.....(there's no stain or dye on this; it's just wiped with naphtha)



Inlays in, fretboard sanded



Side dots drilled





Neck shapery







Neck glued in.





Heel blending/cutaway contouring process





Final sanded





Oh...and I made a matching truss rod cover.

I don't, but should I find more, it'll be mentioned, for sure. Koa (especially koa that nice) is really hard to come by, and rather expensive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't there similair style of body designed for more sustain, called 'sustain points' or something. I remember GW award them in the 90's. They didn't look anything cool as this. Monroe guitars..I think
