In Progress - Two 624 BASSES!

Basses. Not going to make a lot of them (if more than these two), but here's the basic info:

#1 - bolt on black limba body and neck, quilted maple top, ivoroid binding all around, ebony fretboard with 12-16 radius, ebony headstock overlay and truss rod cover, stainless steel frets, EMG pickups











#2 - neck through mahogany, bound ebony fretboard and headstock, 12-16 compound radius, Nordstrand pickups.









Both are off to be painted. Whee!

I've been using Hipshot ultralite tuners for the basses that I've got in process; they seem to work nicely, and Hipshot makes quality parts. Pricing is based on the final result, but generally start around 2600. I've got two more in the process, and once they're done, I don't really have any plans to continue building them.

So you're not willing to build any more basses down the road? I'd have liked to have ordered a Supernova or a 624 bass from you. What a pity.

I will likely always take an order for one, but I don't really plan on advertising them as models.
