Post stain/pre sealer. They'll get some candy over the color as well. The two on outsides are going to Boxcar Guitars in San Diego; the one in the middle goes to The Guitar Sanctuary in McKinney, TX.
Looked like you had fretboards, markers, necks, bodies, etc.. all done at the same time. I'm assuming that when you do multiple custom orders at once you're managing your time differently. Cut a body for another while glue is drying on the binding of something else. Shape a neck on one while another is out at paint. Seems like there's none of that. How has the adjustment been doing a production run of the same model?
Any way you could possibly put more shit into your sig?
You're totally right! These are still being done in a similar fashion in that you still do X while waiting for Y. For example, cut up neck blanks while tops are being glued to bodies, machine bodies while neck blanks are glued, etc.
