Heading back out there early in the morning; the first three should be ready to assemble and go to Boxcar Guitars. Here are a few more pix; I'll take a bunch more while I'm there, of course.
A few of them have final clear and need to be cut and buffed, some of them still have some stain and then sealer. They'll get candy shot over the top to complete the finish. The white striped blue one is mine, and was striped by Ernie Pedragon; the man who painted Randy's white V.
This one is going to be trans white over Korina; here's the first step:
Love this pic; it's too bad that it's cropped slightly.
More soon!

A few quick shots:
These (with the exception of the two in the back) have clear on them and are in the sanding/more clearcoat process. The pinstripe in front hasn't been sanded, but the black fades look dull because they've been coarse sanded. The blue one (3rd from the back) is about to be buffed out.
And here's the blue one being buffed out:
This one has stain and sealer and is ready for it's final colors (some reddish/orangish/brownish tint) - this one will be modeled after Suhr's "bengal burst" (which varies greatly from guitar to guitar).
Buffed out and ready for assembly:
Stamping serial numbers:
Sanding is fun; I was laughing at myself because I had to go between glasses/no glasses to make sure that all of the scratches were out of the binding before it got sealer coats. #GrampaSully
More adventures of Grampa Sully; this time, it's scraping binding.
Sealer:
Mr. J checking out the sealer coat:
Tons more, but you get the point for now.... More soon!
