It could... I'm baffled by the "could lose the dealership if a Guitar Center comes to town" - I don't see how that is true. We have two guitar centers, a Sam Ash about 1/2 mile from one of them, plus two mom & pop stores that are Jackson authorized dealers, so, they seem to allow multiple dealers in the same town just fine.

Well it's been discussed here in the past that other mom and pop stores lost their dealerships this way. That was a few years ago so it may be different now, or different in your area if the market will bear multiple dealers.
ive been waiting for jackson to send the guitar.
im not blowing you off. im sorry u feel that way.
I will do what i can. Please accept my apologies.
I did not re-up my Fender dealership and did not realize that it would also mess up
my jackson dealership. So i ended up with more trouble than I anticipated.
I have a great reputation and value it very much. I just cant believe that ONE incident on a flawless rep. would open up such a large can of shit!!!
So im working on it with jackson. If I cant get them to still send me the remaing order I had, that would be great!!!
Otherwise I will promptly isssue a refund.....
This order got caught in the mix of things. Pierrre u r not at fault and I take full responsibility....
And Matts Music- U couldnt wait for this aye....
You sell to anywhere too I know for sure so dont throw stones buddy....Bad move....
I can you tell a list of VALID issues but the reality is i lost my Jackson dealership cause I failed to re up my Fender account.
I didnt at the time know they were connected.... I do now. (of course we all know fender owns Jackson)
Its the re-uppimg.... all or none I guess... I messed up. A little mercy/grace would be nice....
Again, im working on it...
So sorry this happened to u on my watch....
I also want to emsure the rest of you this is not an EASTON thing....
And want to thank the few of that had my back here.
I been outta the loop for a bit but coming back sronger. i hope.
Either way Pierre, youll get the guitar or a full refund.....
just another heads up.. your wait time is not all that unheard of.. there are several guitars on backorder with most dealers in the USA select series. and if you think about it, it all adds up to more time waiting..
and you didnt really think there wouldnt be stones thrown
My job is buyer for a big french bank and I know how it could be difficult to negotiate with a supplier when you haven't got any negotiation levers... I don't know if it could be possible to get a guitar from Jackson when you are no longer an official dealer. That sucks and I'm a character of this story...

Well what is really unfortunate is that Jackson apparently doesn't feel bound to fulfill an order placed. If someone loses his dealership that's one thing for future business, but as long as he is wiling and able to pay for the guitars he has already ordered while he WAS a dealer, those orders should be filled, period, and not "maybe". It's bad business to not do this on Jackson's part, though they are in the driver's seat. A deal is a deal, already made.
hi everybody,
Scott refunded me today, it is a good new. He does its utmost to solve the situation with Jackson and I thank him for that. I hope that he will recover its licence for Jackson in a near future.
Thanks for all your posts, specially those who support me and not those who have spit on Copperhead.
I'm just glad you lost nothing. Being one of the guys who "spit" on the snake does not bother me. I'll do it again if needed.
You ought to be spitting on Jackson and FMIC since they do not honor preexisting orders when they decide to pull a dealership. Scott issued the refund so he honored his word and it's no skin off his ass. Jackson figures they'll sell enough guitars so they don't care. But madballnyhc was out half the money for the guitar for almost a year. So he got screwed because Jackson decided it was okay for them to disregard and dishonor the order.
I can see Texasfury's point, but I don't think he should be looking badly at Scott or Vwall, if indeed he does. I see the problem as being with Jackson. Their "Maybe we will" policy is not right, as it can leave customers and dealers in limbo for months.
They should either establish a straight-up policy saying if a dealer loses his dealership, all orders are either cancelled, or that they will all be fulfilled. This "Maybe" bullshit IS nothing but bullshit.
