Bad Deal with Nimitz

I bought a used pup from Nimitz a few months ago. From the pic in the ad I could tell it was in used condition. I didn’t have any issue with rusty pole pieces or short lead wires, but the pup had two different size height adjustment screws and the ground wire was buried in the cable. I had to cut the cable open just to find it. The pup was in far worse condition than described and I doubt this had been in use recently. I glued a few 3-48 nuts to the ears on the pup’s base plate and set it aside for a while. The screws came off when I tried to install it yesterday. So I have a pup that’s basically useless.

I contacted Nimitz a few days after I received the pup and he refused to let me return it even though I offered to send it back at my expense. If you are going to buy anything from him I suggest you ask A LOT of questions—perhaps more than any reasonable person should.

Ahh, dude that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Id be super pissed. Youve handled this like a gentleman. Kudos, hopefully you guys can work something out. Maybe you could fill the ear holes and drill and tap them, if its worth it to you.
