Just got word that my item was sent out today so the soap opera is over. Yay!!!!!!!!!! You can learn 1 thing from this and it is that paying with a money order on a forum site is asking for trouble.

Wrong! In your particular case it was asking for trouble (of which we still know nothing about really). There have been plenty of honest deals with money orders on here. Don't knock all the blocks down just because your one individual block isn't too steady on the pile.

Sending a MO is no more risky than doing a PayPal gift I suppose.

GETTING a MO is what I don't like, especially from a flake. If it was a "regular" like you I would not have a problem. But you get some 3-post n00b going "i don't got a paypals" and then you wait and wait and wait and the money order never shows up... It's not like I'm going to tell three other people to send the MO too, and see which one gets here first, right?

The whole thing comes down to who you are dealing with, PayPal just lets you do business with untrustworthy people and get fucked out of your money in new, interesting, and technologically-advanced ways.

He's making fun of the bogus email that goes around the internet asking you to accept money from a "Nigerian Prince" in a stupdily large sum, but to do that, they need $200 to open your bank wire to send the $5,000,000 to. So dumbasses would send the $200 thinking they'd get 5 million, and it was a scam of course.

The email I got wasn't bogus, supposed to be getting the cash any day now.
