At my job, I always remind my co-workers to under promise and over deliver. It's a simple philosophy about managing expectations and then exceeding them. Murkat is the best example of this that I've seen in a long time. Listed a guitar with full disclosure and lots of pics and info, then exceeded every reasonable expectation with communication during the transaction, packed the guitar like it was going to Mars, and - the best part - the guitar was even better than he described. No buyer remorse for me, and that is a rare thing. Plus, I now feel like I have a friend in Nashville, which is super cool. Next time I have some extra cash to spend on an instrument, my first call will be to Jay to see what he has available.
