Re: not happy with LUVGUN

I appreciate all the support that I've received on this...much appreciated!

There's no need to feel sorry for me...this story will have a happy ending! Jim Shine has all the parts and is restoring the guitar and I have every confidence that she's going to turn out great! Plus, in a financial pinch I could recoup almost all my money minus a couple of benji's, so it's not like this was a total loss situation.

Besides isn't getting burned on a deal a rite of passage for anyone getting into old Charvels? Look on the bright side...I got my corn holing out of the way early...bring on the prepros!

All the same, I felt it was my responsibility to share this experience with the rest of the JCF for the obvious reasons.

Rock on!

Yeah, it sucks getting burned but we've all been there. You have the right attitude though.
My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am.

Re: not happy with LUVGUN

OK.

Here's the scoop in a nutshell.

When I posted these auctions, I was in a rush.
I did not take the time I usually do when putting items on ebay.
It had been a while since I had looked at the parts and I completely forgot about the cracks in the neck.
However, I had no idea it was refretted or repaired.
That just looks like a crack to me.
But, then again, I don't know much about these things.
Anyway, I normally inspect every inch of an item and disclose every little detail in my auctions.
I failed to do so in these auctions.
This was not intentional.
And, as George stated above, I was totally open to working out any problems with damage.
There has been alot going on in my life that has affected my normal day to day operations.
I had even stopped posting on ebay because it was affecting my business dealings.
I have always been professional and a fast shipper.
In the past couple of months, that has not been the case.
That's why I've taken a break from the bay.

As for replying to George.
As some of you may have noticed, I have not posted on the JCF in a while.
I have periodically logged in to check my PMs and log out.
I was just alerted of this current situation via a PM.
I immediately checked my email and replied to George.
I have 4 email accounts and have not checked that particular one in over a week.

So, George, I am not ignoring you or trying to burn you.
That is not my style. Never has been.
I have responded to your email.
So, drop me a line and we will work something out.
