Re: Kevin Easton

No W/O would be generated but a Quote # would be somewhere in the whole thing... Micha did get abused for free credit as have others... that being said there may still be a way to salvage the order. Why? Jackson has some liability in this seeing as KEvin was an aouthorized dealer and still claims to be. They have to take action on him now if he isn't authorized any longer and they may feel obliged to honor a quote from a then Authorized representative of Jackson. Honestly Micha I wouldn't roll over on this just yet... I would either get one of the forum dealers involved in this or take it up with Jackson explaining the whole story. By giving up you lose the oppurtunity to get your dream guitar and take a hit on teh exchange rate and lose money for something that was not your fault. Contact Jackson and be a squeaky wheel... be firm on your stance but not an ass and see where it gets you... better than just taking the current loss it is worth a try in the very least

Easton's rep is shot out by now. No need to watch it anymore.

yeah, that's sad but I'm not in the situation to think about that. can just second what jack napalm said before; I hope he's not gonna trap more of us.

I asked him what happened to him and jackson, but he just said it's a long story. if he's not going to explain himself, I need to do this on my own.

I just realized how awsome our current dealers (Scott & Matt) are. Got a custom quote in a day from one of em

Order of people I would deal with

Kevin Easton
Vince Sansavere
Ed Roman

Order of actual trust

Ed Roman
Kevin Easton
Vince

Now honestly I trust Ed the most but I think out of complex morals I would deal with eitehr of the other 2

Re: Kevin Easton

I have had great dealings with both Roman and Easton. I bought a Red Ghost Flames SL2H from Roman a few years ago and the deal was ultra smooth. Same thing with KE last year - no probs on the DK1 I bought from him. International shipping with both and each arrived alive.

Vince, no dice. He didn't have anything I ever wanted. Anyone know what his new screen name is? lol.

I'd deal with KE again on an item he has in stock, despite all the bad press. He did me right the first time and that counts for something to me.

I sent matt a detailed list of what I wanted to order and was told to go to the jackson c/s quote site which I never bothered with....

Sorry man, but I'm not sure what your point is: I've ordered a CS from Matt and I was pointed initially at the Jackson CS quote form, which Matt then submitted, I revised etc etc until it was as I wanted and I placed the order.

I guess you have to start somewhere and this way gives you a ballback figure before dealers and the CS get involved, only to find that it's going to cost far too much so everyone has wasted their time ....
