Re: Kevin Easton

[ QUOTE ]
Kevin still has a 25th on the wall in his shop. Nice looking guitar. It doesn't say sold though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wonder if someone goes to his shop today and asks if he can buy that guitar.
What happens if Easton sold that to someone who has the money in his hand and also keeps the deposit pretending the guitar is still on hold....

Re: Kevin Easton

I called him and left a message to call me. I am paying it off this Friday. It's not beyond me to get on a plane and show up in person either.

Seems to me it's an 80 something. I'll be out of town for the week or I could have gone over there on Tuesday.

Re: Kevin Easton

I called today and spoke to Kevin himself. I am going to pay the balance by Visa on Friday and get the guitar. I am relieved.

Re: Kevin Easton

my easton-story is still not done yet.

just called him yesterday for status-request and the package he sent to me including the refund-cheque for my custom and the electronics I sent to him simply disappeared and is not the be found by the UPS guys or whoever was meant to handle this.

I guess the fault was to send the cheque together with the electronics in a package. since all packages get opened for security reasons someone could have grabbed it. that's just what happened IMO.

easton is gonna resend today he said, so let's see how it works out. my electronics are gone though....

Damn. I am sorry to hear this. Did he provide you with a tracking #? UPS or Kevin are still responsible for them until they are delivered. At the least you should get some money back from someone.

micha, I have to say that this story smells fishy to me. Based on the previous experience of others, this is standard operating procedure for Easton Guitars. I don't believe he ever sent the check or the electronics.

It sucks that you're in Germany and so far away from the situation.

Re: Kevin Easton

as a funny fact; it's the second time already these electronics got lost. first time, when I bought them from easton the package didn't arrive and had to be resended, and now he's trying to send'em again, they are lost once more.
kind of funny...

should have kept them instead of shipping them to him for that new custom that never has been ordered...

but still it could be possible that the package got opened, and someone was not able to resist.
got no clue what happened. and yes, germany is quite far away, so I just have to wait I guess.

@JN; I'm gonna ask easton about this. it's not my fault anyway he lost my parts, but first the cheque is by far the bigger problem.
