I should know better than to engage in an on-line pissing match. To the rest of the members who have had to watch this, I apologize.

I have to admit, when certain members question the rules, question our integrity, or even post things in a way that seems like they're questioning either - I get pretty steamed. Usually I walk away and come back later when another admin has posted. Unfortunately for me, I didn't do that in this case.

In this thread, someone asked about Kevin E.'s status. I was not aware, or I simply forgot that his membership was revoked. There's plenty on my mind lately, so I probably forgot and just failed to check. Sully came in and corrected my incorrect statement. In no way was I trying to mislead anyone.

But I digress. This thread is about Micha getting his money back. Anything else either needs it's own thread or needs to be conducted privately.

WOW how did this thread turn into an Admins vs Members thread? The issue is pretty clear IMO...

Micha - BE Clear on this - Bring Down Fire NOW. No more anything from KE either take another guitar or get every authority involved that you can. Now is not the time to be a nice guy. That has passed. If you continue being a "nice" guy about it just roll over and forget about getting any money or compensation.

Micha, one last time: contact the authorities. It's high time that someone started giving him the (legal) reputation that he deserves for his practices.

If you won't do it for yourself, do it to help prevent the NEXT person from being screwed. Because, even if you do ever get your money back, most likely it will be coming from some other poor sap who'd be getting screwed in the exact same way you did.

about this material refund;
if I take something out of his inventory, which isn't online btw, I agree with pat it should be something 30-50% above the value. since I doubt I will get full value out of it selling it privately... but what should that be?
I'm not sure what he's got right now, but since he's no longer a jackson dealer, nor fender, I doubt I will find something equal. and 30% above, I'd have to take his car or something... [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
no seriously, I think it's him who runs a store, so it should be his job to sell gear and get money for it. not to mention it should be easier for him to sell, than it is for me.

I'm still not really into that idea, even though I agree it's still better than nothing.

the answering mashine also says opened monday to friday 11-6 and 10-3 on saturdays.

and a couple of weeks ago I had this guy on the phone on monday, probably his son?
did sound quite similar...


anyway, I know the problem calling him already, and I left him a message, that I will call at 1pm. worked alright last time...
