I'd find out what US agency deals with international trade violations and file a complaint there. Also, find out if you can file an Internet fraud complaint in his own locality. Chances are they won't haul him straight to jail, but getting a summons will put him on alert that the shit's hitting the fan if he doesn't pay up.

A JCF member in Europe mentioned to me in passing that the FBI's internet crimes division had been helpful in assisting him in resolving a bad situation with someone in the US so you might try them. The local Better Business Bureau is also a good idea as they really work to assist customers in resolving issues with commercial entities; they have no real power but will dog Easton until something happens and Micha tells them the issue is resolved. The Texas Attorney General's Office is also a good place to lodge a complaint as they could actually bring charges if it came to that (which it won't I'm sure) and in many states they mediate consumer disputes over far less money than we're talking about here. If there are any members of the Texas Bar here it might also be worth paying them for a bit of their time and having them send a demand letter to Kevin, often just getting an unfriendly-looking letter from an attorney will be enough to prod reluctant folks into action and the game here is for Micha to demonstrate to Easton that he's more serious about getting his money back than are others that Kevin is treating the same way ... and to do so before Kevin folds up shop and files for bankruptcy protection.

I would go with the BBB and any Texas agency that will listen. Start getting something on record and stop wasting time. It's a deal gone bad anyway. If you do nothing, or wait to act, you can share the blame for your loss of money(sorry..sad but true). I feel for you bro, but the time to act was months ago..Good luck.

Ed Romand is a Limp Dick wanna - be Guitar Player. I think RacerX deserves a courtesy Custom Shop. I was in his store last year and His employees give the impression that they are doing you a huge favor by selling you a guitar. His prices were a joke just like the mdget hinself.

Maybe we should clarify the type of "ass kicking" that it was. It was in the literal sense, as in foot to ass, instead of the figurative sense, as in he got beat down. I'm not trying to dispell Ron's accomplishment, but I just want everyone to know what exactly transpired.

Is it a bad thing to speak in the figurative sense with KE?

He definitely needs at least a foot in his ass!!!

Violence isn't the way to go. I think making him realize that he's on the verge of losing all that is important to him would hurt him more than any of us could ever imagine. The possibility of a couple of years in the pokey could wake him up more than a foot in the ass. (because he'll fear more than a foot in the ass in prison)

But unfortunately, he will never get charged with anything, so I don't believe that's a viable threat or outcome to his business practices...

Oh well, maybe we can sit down with him and discuss these issues at NAMM....

I'll have the cam rolling, yeh the same one I managed to bring home from the last 2 NAMM's, smart asses....
