Thanks sully - yeah I wanted it for a long time and gota SWEEET deal via ebay on it.

What was funny is that when I called to pay for it, he answered the phone and we chatted for a good 15 minutes or so about collection, guitars, my love of old Gretsches etc etc...

crap...I didn't think anymore of it than that...gotta say he seemed pleasant to me on the phone but after reading this...damn.

KEvin is always pleasnat on the phone, it is his business ethics that are in question. Trace I am with Chuck on this... get someone to pick this up for you, since this is different than Micha (he has it in possesion not a misplaced custom order) you can feel a little better but I wouldn't be feeling great just yet

but I think since you did a transaction over ebay, you might be relativly safe. at least ebay provides more safities than easton does himself.
and he should have everything ready, that he puts on ebay.
I think you're better off than me, but I wish you luck none the less and hope you won't need it.



I just called him again for my own matters, first call attempt on 11.10 his time, and the line was bizzy, second attempt ten minutes later he was on the phone at second ring.
and he didn't even wait for me to ask something or start my angry monolog I've been rehearsing in mind since friday, and asked me questions about my bank data.
I send him everything on email, but he was not sure, what is the street name and what the name of the credit institue, so I had to help him out.
he didn't even know how to pronounce it, so I think I might believe him there.

he gave me a phone number of his credit institute and said he'd drop me an email within about two hours with a tracking number, so I can check things up.

I'm kind of nervous right now, and I can just hope that yesterdays email and voice messages did have the effect on him, that I believed to mention in his behavior.

but I might mention, that I heard quite a lot of background noises, like people talking and stuff, so I think his buisness is still running quite ok. at least that's what I've heard so far. he was having customers, when mark went there to help me out, and so far on almoust every phonecall I was able to hear some folks in his store...
I think he's not THAT done as some people say in here.
