Does anyone know if the 25th that he advertises actually exists?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Shawn, #23 was originally going to be my guitar. I had GMW Empire standard #23, so I wanted to match it up with that 25th. When it came in it had a ton of setup issues, so KE gave me #22. He couldn't get #23 to stop buzzing or intonate properly. Just FYI.

    [/ QUOTE ]

not that it matters a ton, but i know that he sent one of the ones he had back to jackson because the neck kept moving. that could have been the one that was yours, fritz.

If the neck is screwed up, wouldn't it be covered under warranty?

Alright I got an update for you all. I talked to Kevin today and he said he tried to credit the money back to my credit card but it wouldnt go through (this is true because my card got lost and I had to get a new one with a different number) so I gave him my new number and he did the work on the computer and said that it looked like everything went through on his end and for me to call my credit card company tomorrow to make sure I got it all. Hopefully this will be the end of it. Keeping my fingers crossed

            Thank you txcharvel!

Kevin Maynard...I DID apologize to the administration for getting a little out of hand didn't I? The fact is that for some weird reason you just never have liked me! I find that extremely odd considering the fact that we've never even met in person nor done business with one another. Is it because I'm not afraid to speak my mind?? You seem to forget that all of the Kevin Easton stuff was kept behind closed doors in the JCF02 section and the ones of us who weren't in on that had no idea what was going on. Am I responsible for bringing it out in the open to the rest of the forum? Yes I am. Did I do that to make your job harder? Hell no! I thought I was doing the rest of the brothers a favor with some fair warning. I'll admit, maybe I could have used a little better tact, but I didn't because I was extremely pissed off. I'll bet there are many here who wished they'd heeded my warnings now.
            Anyway.....enough about that.

            [/ QUOTE ]

Yep you apologized, and you also take to heart the idea that I don't like you- I don't know you ..

Just because you apologise doesn't make it right, and it didn't make our jobs any easier. Your assuming because you apologise that it never happened....

Sorry for the stupid question but how can Easton pay to a CC? I know a transaction can be cancelled but can regular CC holders receive payments on their cards? I know I can't but is this possible in US?

Jani, that's not a stupid quesion. As I understand it, anyone with a CC machine can get refunds credited back to an individual's CC account....

Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

It's not considered a "payment" per se, but rather he will process a transaction to credit his CC. Most retailers' policy is to credit the card you originally used for the purchase if something goes wrong and requires a refund. Very few will give cash back in this case.

Yep, he would have had to enter it as a credit to the card. The reson a vendor would want to do it to the same card is so that if there was ever a problem, you could show the refund to the same account. I believe that even if it is to the same card, the merchant wiill still have to pay the 2.2% for the credit card charge unless he catches his batch before he sends it in.

I forgot to mention that I did talk to Kevin on the phone on Monday, the day he sent the credit through. He said he had done mine and one other persons so if someone else here is owed money by him, you might have gotten it today. He said his accountant had stolen $17,000 from him and that is why hes had money problems lately.
