Got my parts last night, installed them and they worked perfectly. Of course, my 9 volt battery happened to die at the same time I was doing the repairs, but instead of checking the battery first, I took the long road, and unassembled everything I did, including the new strings I put on, then a little light went on telling me to check the battery. Thank god no one was around to witness my inability to do it the easy way. Amazing things happen when you replace a dead battery with a good one..........it works. I sentenced myself to a timeout in my chair (with a six-pack) and pondered over my stupidity.
Lesson learned
Thanks Dave for the parts
