Any of you who have a Big Red, take a look at it, and take a look at the pictures and tell us again how those scrapes and cracks going up the sides of the tip and wings could have happened in shipping. And if they did, where's the pieces?
As has been stated, we'll never know how it really happened, but like most things in life, the most obvious answer is usually the right one.

Scoville, I can sort of see your pont about anger, hell yeh, but you really need to read "everything" I've posted about it. And you don't know me, so keep that in the back of your head as well...
He felt he needed to call the cops to get his guitar, so be it, that's fine. Never had a problem with that. Still don't.
The reason he called the cops? Simple really, he dicked me around for 6-7 months with all of this crap, I merely did the same thing by dicking him around, for less time mind you. He would have gotten his money or the guitar, but on my terms, not Ian's, it could have been a smooth transaction a year ago, he's the one that complicated the issue and drug it out for 6-7 months, so yes, after that point, it was on my terms I played his game for too long, obviously. He was never once in jeopardy of not receiving one or the other, ever. He had ample opportunity and chances to do the right thing, he neglected to do so. So sure, I made him sweat for a few months, so what? But trashing a guitar? Sorry Dr Phil, not me..
And for the record, I'm not sold on the shipping thing.
Thanx again guys! And hey Fett, what's up?
Pat

Yo Pat how's it going man. Good to see you. Only thing I have to say is that pretty much is how Jackson ships them. I got my Warrior in a box. Freely floating around. They threw in a piece of bubble wrap. And I stress a piece. It did nothing to help protect anything. It was a 2'x2' piece between one side of the case and the box. Couldn't believe they ship them that way.

only thing obvious to me is that someone isn't telling the whole truth. I doubt it will ever be known. Ian hast been around since Pats posts so who knows whats going on...certainly not any of us

For the thread at hand:
It's obvious to me that this guitar was damaged in shipping. The box is busted apart at the seams, the case got banged around and opened, and everything in the case proceeded to mess up the guitar as it got banged around. If you look in the photo Ian posted, you can see a chip of red paint in the case up by the headstock. Pat, I wasn't posting here when you were, but you seem like a nice guy who is frustrated with Ian's actions. However, it would take a lot for me to call the cops on someone, so there must be more going on here than is posted.
Ian: For now, I would take Mark up on his offer and get the guitar fixed up. File a claim with FedEx to get your money back and throw a little Mark's way for the repairs.Last edited by Spivonious; 01-22-2007, 03:26 PM.

Really man. Joe is right here. Ian blasted Pat into oblivion. Pat has every right to send out as much info as he feels comfortable with.

And Ian said a lot more, too. So Pat can't come here and defend himself? What really is your point?

"4. Packing? That's the same way I got the guitar shipped to me I believe. I've had several shipped the same way without issue, didn't think anything of it. Weren't these originaly shipped like this? The box was pretty tight with thsoe cases, no? I don't remember personally, so a refresher may be in order here, if it even matters at this point."
You show me ANY guitar manufacturer (besides maybe Neal Moser) who puts extra packing materials in a box or case. And luckily it was a USA made guitar, otherwise there wouldn't even be a case for it.

and i wasn't accusing you, just simply saying that your saying more than you need to .. the fact that you're spilling your guts which are filled with hate makes it look like a confession ...
... i'll ignore the other infantile comments

your responses are so full of anger at how much of your time was wasted and you got dicked around ... not saying you didn't have a reason to be angry .. but its a certainly a motive.
