It all comes back to ethics and I see only one side that lacks it...

Failure to pick something up thats yours is not unethical its just stupid.

lerxscat I did notice you were the only one that did not agree with the swag taking.
The guy paid for the guitar with everything for full price not part misrepresented merchandise I say.

It all comes back to ethics.

If the store did not pay its insurance on time do you send a goon in there to knock a few 20 dollar things over, things only worth 20 dollars nothing else? Thats cool?

I guess I missed that fiasco, Pat. Would you mind saying what your position was? I'm sure there's no enforceable legality on the swag, I just thought it would be only right to keep the swag with the guitar, that's all. For the next owner if not the one you're selling to today, you know?

Hey Wulfe ( and G ), good to see you to!!! I think I still have your number... 314.223.xxxx? I'll give you a buzz sometime, Congrad's on the new addition!!! Best of luck!

You guys really need to be be smarter than the piece of plastic you're expressing your opinions with, and read between the lines as it pertains to the plate/swag...

I was part of a large shit storm when someone here tried to sell their BR without the plate and/or swag, if you recall that fiasco... My position on it hasn't changed and I think it's perfectly clear. And if you still don't get it perhaps Dr Phil can dumb it down for you.

Legally speaking? Pfftt.... Not even going there...

    Pat

    And, here you go:

The condition of this guitar makes that moot, but had it arrived in mint condition it would be worth less, and to say the plate with Robbin's sig is only worth $25, well I don't think that's true. It would've been better to send Ian a refund and sell it elsewhere, complete with swag, and keep it all together as the JCF run was meant to be.

Nope; look back, you'll see that I said the swag should've stayed with the guitar. I don't recall but I thought someone agreed with that.

So Fish was here Monday night and signed on long enough to read this thread, then signed off without posting. I wonder what's going on in the YouThinkYourFish household?

The only answer is a compromise, Ian should collect from FedEx claim, Pat can send me the swag, and I will buy the relic from Ian at a greatly reduced (1/3?) price

Hope this gets worked out to everyone's favor. And I hope it turns out like a big three's company episode, just a big misunderstanding all the way around.

This year has started out with a lot of bad deals and name calling, or is that every Jan/Feb?

Yeah, everyone thinks that my 12 year old daughter is 16. But, they also think my 19 year old is 15. So, I guess it balances out.

No. I was saying he is taller than you...

I have a client that is 5'4". A year ago he walks into my building. My kid is there and he walks up to the client and tells him that in a year or so he is going to be as tall or taller than said client... You can imagine the laughter coming from everyone that was in the room. Glad he had a sense of humor.

Is it me or are the kids these days just taller now? Must be all the crap they put in food I guess....

So, what you're saying is that he's taller than you now? At 8yrs old?
