Tim,
I knew you would figure it out!
Anyway, I'm about out for the night. I see Ian didn't stick around...

5. Basically he fkd me around for well over 6 months, wasted 40+ hrs of MY LIFE waiting for his phantom FedEx pickups, so I in turn fkd him around for 6 months, absolutely!!!! Wouldn't you?!? My payback to Ian was keeping the swag and extras, not trashing this amazing guitar! I figured the swag was worth less than $25 ( keeping ALL sentimental value out of it ) and just a way to say fuck you Ian.... If he wants to press charges for that, go for it.... But he bought a guitar, he was sent a guitar, a mint guitar!

So this is cool to do? No one has a problem with this?
Me personally I am not trying to take sides the wife theory sounds viable to me...
...but in small claims court this shows lack of ethics and malice...all I am saying.
If a dealer did this to you would it be OK?

This is not a dealer / If it was then it would be a different story from the get go.

No. I was saying he is taller than you...
I have a client that is 5'4". A year ago he walks into my building. My kid is there and he walks up to the client and tells him that in a year or so he is going to be as tall or taller than said client... You can imagine the laughter coming from everyone that was in the room. Glad he had a sense of humor.
Is it me or are the kids these days just taller now? Must be all the crap they put in food I guess....Last edited by Firebird V; 01-23-2007, 01:09 PM.

I personally don't think the swag should be separated from the guitars since that would devalue the guitar in a subsequent sale to another JCFer. I can understand the frustration with the wait but everything that came with the guitar from Jackson should be kept with it.
The condition of this guitar makes that moot, but had it arrived in mint condition it would be worth less, and to say the plate with Robbin's sig is only worth $25, well I don't think that's true. It would've been better to send Ian a refund and sell it elsewhere, complete with swag, and keep it all together as the JCF run was meant to be.Ron is the MAN!!!!

The only answer is a compromise, Ian should collect from FedEx claim, Pat can send me the swag, and I will buy the relic from Ian at a greatly reduced (1/3?) price
Hope this gets worked out to everyone's favor. And I hope it turns out like a big three's company episode, just a big misunderstanding all the way around.

Guess that beats your 4 feet huh Chris... :ROTF:Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~
