Kevin, I apologize about the registration name...I am not a liar. It was so long ago I didn't recall being registered as cityguitars. I do not have access as you do to the JCF files. I do however remember being banned back then, also without merit.

I lived up to my responsibilities as an admin .. when you were banned all you were doing was looking to keep 1 persons name at the top of the feedback section for a prolonged period of time.. once you stated your gripe and it was done it should have been left alone..

I owe you nothing, no explanations or anything because as stated you were no better than anyone else being admonished..the explanationwasn't what you wanted to hear and again i got abused by pm by a member. ..

You ovation deal was a shitty way to do business and talks about your character much like your feeling you got dicked around by Bret I felt the same with your attitude about that .... I thought it was a crappy way to do business.. but unlike you I just let it go .. I only speak of it now because your practices are no better than the people you complain of ...

trade value is an entirely different animal than cash value, hence the margin.

This is only true of "Business or dealer" practices and not public deals. Your guitar was worth the $800 you asked for as the guitar you would have gotten in trade... to say that a $400 upcharge is like me going to Daddies Junky music and trading something in at which point I simply say ..if you are a dealer you don't belong in our classifieds!!

I reread your post and agree that you did go out of your way to make a sale. I have felt you do this for me in the past also and I was not expediant in returning your emails. I guess I can empathize with Bret as this did not have his full attention and I have been the same way. In the past you have been gracious but this time it has peeked your meter for some reason and has become more than it should be. This could have been any of us feet draggers that you are fired up about. But as an accomplished seller you know what your options are and you move on. I do know that when the right guitar comes along I would not hesitate and when a good one comes along and I am just being compulsive I might drag my feet. Your recourse as always is to move on. I sell for a living and I "suck" at selling my personal stuff. I am never sure if I even want to sell it and then miss it when I do. I see guys sell here and then say off to eBay. If I do it again I will do the same. I have had forum members asking me to swap necks on guitars I am selling like I am a custom shop, or hold a guitar for 2 weeks and then say they have no money and the next week buy another expensive guitar and show it on the forums. It is what it is... off to ebay

You in all different areas of this thread have pointed out inconsistencies in your stories. My issue isn't the deal you had or didn't have in place with Bret. My issue comes in the fact that you haven't been any better than the people you complain over.

You by admission have shown you were banned previously after denying it. You by admission have shown you were in fact "CityGuitars" after mysteriously forgetting the point. It wasn't until it was put in plain site that you "Remembered" what happened.

You haven't even gotten the stories correct of our interactions accusing me of protecting other JCFers erroneously and even mistaking WHO you had problems with at any given time.

Trade value and cash value as a public deal are not like buying a guitar in a store. If you post a WTS/WTT it is bullshit to expect someone to pony up 50% more so you can make a profit. This goes back to your "dealer mentality" that I was pointing out. It's a shitty thing to pull and to me was just as bad as what you have now accused Bret of.

You were playing a game to make money off the forum .. typical ..
