Alright I know this is a guitar forum but who our your guys favorite drummers. Ill start this off with saying that mine is Gene Hoglan. I mean come on listen to darkness descends or symbolic and tell me thats not amazing drumming. I also really like Gar Samuelson and Dave Budbill.

To me the exploitation of the back beat with the post NWOBHM/crossover american (thrash)/hardcore with an absolute necessity is true command of the snare. When I'm playing I listen to the snare more than anything else(P.S. ~ more fukkin cowbell)
