Neal Peart, the guy from Toto who passed away, one of the Porcaro brothers, Jeff.

Martin Lopez takes the cake for me. Technical ability and tons of style. Too bad that his issues derailed an awesome career.

Sean Reinert is my favortie just for his jazzy hooks, and being a simple master of time, as well as filling holes where you never expect em to be filled especially with the first Aghora album!!

Gene Hoglan of course! Individual Thought Patterns, and Symbolic prove he is one of the best!!

Richard Christy though i think has done the sickest shit with Burning Inside!! SICKEST drumming I've ever heard!!

Yanic Bercier is one of my new favs as well!

Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy) is a Goddamn animal to! SICK FUCKER!!

                          Joe Cangelosi Kreator-Cause for Conflict!!

Mikkey Dee-King Diamond, Abigail, and Them!!

Before I even opened the thread my choice was Gene Hoglan. When I read your first post:

Lots of great drummers out there, but Hoglan actually inspired me to buy a kit this year and start learning to play.
