Myleene Klas is an odd one.

She got famous by winning the first series (anywhere I think) in the original format of these 'idol' contest shows. Although back then Simon Cowel wasn't involved, it was another intollerable arse Nigel Lithgow.

I think the series was called 'Pop Stars' or something like that and the winners were all thrown together into a pop band that they called 'Hearsay'. They pretty much tanked as a group and they all faded into obscurity.

All apart from her, Myleene is a classically trained musician and after the 'pop' thing didn't work out she wen't back to doing what she did best, proper music. She now does TV presenting as well and still tours with her own version of classical music.
