  • Giants laying 3 tonight and over under 44 against the Skins.
I'll take the Giants and the under.

    • Wow, the Giants were horrible today. Tommy, looks like the Jets will take us to the last game of the season as usual, needing to win to be in. Hopefully, the bengals will lay down nicely like the Colts did for us today. LOL! Payton looked pissed today, just standing on the sideline for the whole second half. Yikes! I was at the last football game ever played at Shea. It wasnt pretty when the Jets lost that game. Imagine the mess its gonna be in NJ if the Jets lose. That place will be destroyed!

      • Keep your eye on the Jets.
So far it seems they could be the awakened sleep giant.
They are playing good tough football right now.
If they keep it up they not only will make the playoffs BUT may go farther.
How much farther? Hard to say.
But right now they are playing really good football.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

"Anyone who tries to fling crap my way better have a really good crap flinger."

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.

          • The odds of them pulling it off are 3,000,00 to 1. Ive seen this exact scenario with them many times before. All they gotta do is win one and theyre in. Last year they just had to win one of their last 3 to be in, Nope. The year before the same deal, nope. For me, the glass is half empty. Are the Bengals playing for any thing, a buy or home field? I think they should rest Carson Palmer, wouldnt want him to get another concussion for nothing.

            • That game was a disgrace to Colts fans. What a slap in the face to them.
If you're a colts fan how the hell can you possibly get behind their coaching staff?
pulling players doesn't work, it never has. If the game was a blowout in either teams direction, then yes of course, but the game wasn't over. Peyton Manning has never been injured or missed a game in his entire career!!! What the fukk was that shit!!!
They just mailed it in, nothing more. They could have done something amazing and they mailed it in to play it safe, real smart, what a stupid move. So what happens next now? They start Painter next week, lose the game, then have a bye in the first round and then go into the first playoff game with no momentum whatsoever? I can't believe this shit I'm so pissed off!!! NO I AM NOT A COLT FAN BY ANY MEANS.
I was fine, just fine with the position of being able to play out the rest of the season and playoffs with no worries, but now the God Damn jets have sucked me and the rest of their fans back into possible playoff contention with that miserable greasy win yesterday. Yes their defense has been great all season but their defense is also their offense and that's a no-no unless you're the 2000 Ravens and that they're not.
NOT TO MENTION- Thanks a lot for last weeks gutterballing at home against the Falcons. Why couldn't they have just given up the game winning touchdown from the 5 yard line on first down? God forbid they be decent to their fans and do that. What do they do? Stop the falcons 3 times from the 5 and drag us out until 4th fukkin' down to give up the winning touchdown with under a minute left. NOT TO MENTION- The Jets made it into the red zone 5 fukkin' times against the falcons and failed to score!! Not even a field goal!!! I can't fukkin' take this team anymore. I'm fragile right now. The last thing I need is is a win and in situation. Damn the Colts and their staff i say!!! Rot in hell!!!! I once was fine, now I'm a wreck. The question is will Marv Lewis
sit his guys next week against the Jets? It won't matter anyway, I'm fully prepparing myself for the gut wrenching loss when jets kicker Jay feely bounces the winning field goal try off the left goal post all the way over to the right goal post and then down on to the goal bar and the ball then falls forward negating the field goal and the playoffs like the two they missed against the Steelers when they could have beaten them in Pittsburg in '04.
Damn the Colts and their staff!!!! Gutless bastards!!!!!!!

Tidbit to backup what I say-
2007- last game of season-Patriots-Giants. Patriots going for undefeated season, Giants already in playoffs and playing for nothing. What does their coach Tom Coughlin do? he starts everyone and plays balls out but lose a barn burner 38-35 to the Patriots. That game got the Giants going in the right direction and showed them that they could actually play with the Patriots, ultimately springboarding them to a Superbowl win over the maybe the best team I've ever seen in my life, the 2007 Patriots. Coughlin said "what would i be saying to my players, coaches, front office and the fans if I sat anyone for that game?" That i like a lot.
The God damn Jets are gonna do it to me again. This time I'm gonna be ready.
              Fukk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                • Vikes/Pats... 'nuff said...

And Tommy, I didn't take that game, but it's hard giving the Panthers 9 against anyone, really... I almost took the money line and thought my money would be better played on the fkn Saints! I'm glad they lost that game, fkrs!

Oh well, Vikodins and the under tonight kids...

                  • Colts lost? Cool. Now no more "pursuit of perfection" talk

And the Saints have fulfilled their own heritage - once they lose one game, they go on a downhill slide. They're like the guy with a glass jaw - one pop and he's down, and then after that all you gotta do is pop that jaw and he's down again. Carolina's gonna whip that ass 48 to 3.

                    Geaux Aint's!

As for commentators, Berman's the worst. His piss-poor attempts at song-title-based humor make me want to vomit (calling Rob Baronas "My Baronas" alluding to the song "My Sharona", etc). Madden's "my toungue's too fat for my mouth" tone is another one that grates on my nerves.
Lou Holtz is starting to get on my nerves. I know the guy has dentures, but seriously, it's fucking annoying.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

                    • Berman's been doing that for almost 20 years now Newc. He's actually had some pretty good ones early on in his career, but it has gotten a little old now.
and the colts didn't lose, they bailed out which is much worse in my opinion, and it could very well mess up the groove they had going. I still can't believe it.

                      • IMO, the Chargers (or the Pats) were going to take out Indy anyway. Now they'll have something to blame it on.

                        • I'm not gonna throw in the towel on the Colts yet, but I really feel that was a huge faux pas the way they handled that game yesterday.

Tommy, I have to disagree with ya bro, big time!

No way Manning and company need to play, they shouldn't have played last week, or limited play, perhaps a quarter, etc, or run the ball 90% of the time. If Manning or anyone else get hurt in a game that means nothing, then what?

They have had no reason to play for at least 2 weeks!

                            • I didn't get that either, a healthy Manning sitting while you could go for a perfect season? wtf man? I understand their logic but c'mon man, a shot at historic perfection and ya quit...dumb

you play to fuckin win or you dont show up....

                              • The thing that bugs me the most isn't the Colts record, but how it affects the playoff picture for other teams. In the other big sports that have so many more games, I don't think it's as big a deal if teams who've locked it up mail it in and rest key players down the stretch, but there are only 16 games in the NFL. Wildcards and div. champs that nobody thought much of have proven that they can get hot and go all the way, so it's a big deal. There's no good answer for the problem, but it sucks ass.
