realistically, it shoulda been over waaaay before that. That int off drivers foot was a total fluke, not to mention crosby missing a freakin 29yd field goal.

Oh there were definitely a couple of deserved calls against them, but those came later. But after finally getting to see the game on Gamerewind (had listened to it on the WWL internet radio station), I will say the officials blew one of the fumble calls. Dude was still touching Shockey when his forearm was on the ground and before he let the ball out.

But then, that's a "sorry about the fuckup" call IMO for when they called Shockey earlier in the game for pass interference. The commentators on the radio were playing the replay over and over looking for anyone within 5 feet of him he could have fouled.

All I'm saying newc is that the Saints got two big calls overturned after review, one of them being the fumble that led to the game winning field goal. Great teams are also usually lucky at times and the Saints caught a couple of breaks, and the Saints are fukkin' awesome this year, it's certainly looking like they're a cinch for the NFC championship game at the very least. Not too shabby.

I'm burning the entire Saints 2009 season to DVD for my Dad. You can get any game of the season from Game Rewind, so I hooked my laptop to my DVD burner, started with the first game, and away we go

Wish I could find a program that would let me save the files to my computer. The one I have it seems can be defeated - it works just fine on that damn GC flash banner at the bottom of every page here and on YouTube, but there's some code in Flash that can be enabled to be invisible to it. Gotta find a better way around that stupidity

Actually that's a great move, if they go all the way you'll already have the "Sports Illustrated Free DVD with paid subscription" for free already, and no headache magazine to buy.
I used to love that mag back in the day, but now, it's like, who needs it? Or the newspaper? unless you're on a trainride to the city or something in new York.

The play of the week was the Saints receiver-Meacham who stole the ball after the Redskins linebacker picked off a brees pass, while he was returning the ball meacham picked his pocket right back and ran it into the end zone.
