  • fukk it, i can't hold it in anymore, i'm shithouse drunk on jet fuel rex ryan kool aid.
it's more addicting than any drugs you could possibly buy off the street.
If the Jets pull this miracle off, yours truly is off to Miami.
Meeting a bunch of other retards i grew up with in New York who are just as blind as I am to the fact that the Jets are gonna get steamrolled on Sunday.

    • Good luck Tommy. Maybe the Colts will be too confident at home and get taken for a surprise on Sunday

I'd like to see Jets make it to the Super Bowl...would be pretty cool

      • It's a tall order to win there, but a very simple game plan, the offense has to get a lot of first downs and keep the ball out of Manning's hands as much as is humanly possible. They're gonna need a couple of breaks too, not get down by more than a score, etc. etc., but at least all the pressure is on the Colts. They're supposed to win. At this moment, I'd take the Jets and the 8 points, Indy has won alot of close games and in the 4th quarter, so the 8 points from a betting standpoint I'd rather take than give. The jets have to weather the first quarter, the fans, no false starts from the noise, and not fall too far behind. The Colts are last in the league in rushing, but with Manning at helm that doesn't matter. The phone's ringing off the wall this week. Everyone is amped up just a tad.

        • Jets should come out in retro/throwback jerseys with players sporting Namath sideburns...lol

I'm not a betting man so I don't look at spreads or odds very much. Winning a bet by taking the points yet losing the game is not the same as winning a game. The scoreboard starts at 0-0 every game for me...final score is everything

              • Remember JETs fans, you have a ROOKIE QB, not Willy Joe Namath, at the helm. I know stranger things have happened, but sooner or later Mr. Sanchez's inexperience will reveal itself in a couple of mistakes...

Also, Manning gets all the press - and he deserves it 'cause he is stupid good (and when I say stupid good, I really mean ridiculously stupid good) - but a big reason the Colts are 15-0 in games we actually cared about is our defense, and they don't get much pub at all. All we are hearing about is the Jet's #1 Defense, but I'm hear to tell you, if you watched the Colt's defense this year, they are VERY good, and that's without Bob Sanders and other starting defensive backs.

When the Jets laid 29 points on us in week 16, that was in a game we knew we wouldn't win (cause the plan was to sub) against our JV and freshmen team. Remember, we were only 1/2 playing starters in the first half of the game, and the Jets had only 3 points at the half in a game they HAD to win to have a chance at the playoffs.......

                • and the way the Colts fucked up week 16 is the main reason the the Jets are in the position they are. The Colts D is agile, and they can pass rush from the ends with anyone, but they have to stop the Jets run game, or the game could be close. If Sanchez has to throw over 20-25 times, then it could be a long day for the Jets.

                  • The Jets were winning that game 10-9, manning took them down the field , gave them the lead back 15-10 and then the colts tanked in the most disgusting way I've ever seen. They didn't even try to go for greatness, what a hose and tank job.
That's the one thing that the Jets truly have going for them. It's a stretch to think the jets can win, they're gonna need some breaks bigtime.
The Colts are a timing and rythm offense, and taking most of the 3rd quarter in the jet game off through Buffalo and the bye week I thought may disrupt their rythm a little bit.

                    • ...and as much smack as I'm talking, there is a little voice in my head reminding me how good the Jets looked against the Chargers... as I said earlier, stranger things have happened than if the Jets pull it off.. Should be a great game!

                      • They eventually wore the Chargers down, but i think the Colts would rather play the jets than the Chargers. I'm about to burst, this happens once every 11 to 16 years for me -lol

                        • I'm rooting for your Jets, Tommy! Would much rather see the Saints play them than the Colts, assuming they get past the Vikings. Not saying they couldn't fuck up our shit though; they could. Sometimes the underdog really cleans your clock.

Interesting game for those of us on the MS Gulf Coast, the NFC Championship that is. Our home team versus our favorite son Favre QBing for the Vikes. Bittersweet any way you look at it, and surreal that anyone from these parts is in a position to contend for the Super Bowl!

The Superbowl won't be a close or a great game like this one was.
From start to finish two teams played their hearts out and made for a great game.
                              A great AFC championship game.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

                              • Sanchez did VERY well period, let alone for a rookie....
But Peyton and the D took over down the stretch and were too much for the J E T S jets jets jets.

                                Very good game.
