When I saw the Seymour Duncan link I thought it was going to be about smoking pickups."We were sitting on the bus one day and there were 5 of us hanging out. There was only one beer left in the cooler and we actually all took a little cup and split it. It was a pathetic day in a rock and roll when five grown men have to be sitting there sharing a beer. "

They removed the competition, used propaganda to fill the heads of common folks with marxist mambo-jambo and all the cash went straight into their pockets.

But to clarify, when I say "our descriptors" I mean humans generally- I'm a capitalist- Therefore I must fulfill that description to the max- Never chiding a capitalist enterprise, no matter how repugnant it may be. That's just silliness.

I'm sorry if my example came across as a knuckleball- I thought it was breathtakingly straight-forward and that my meaning was clear. Let me try one more time: Just because one defines oneself as a socialist it doesn't mean they have to support every single "socialist" initiative.

Most of my friends were nuts about them, but I was an Alice Cooper fan and just wrote them off as a watered down ripoff. I appreciate them much more now, and I think they probably spawned more rock bands than almost anybody else, so I can understand why lots of guys my age & a little younger worship them. They made kids want to pick up instruments, and their tunes were easy to learn & fun to play in the garage.
Peter Criss seems to be dialing it in pretty much though.

Nothing to do with a condition, human or otherwise. Your comment seemed to suggest that there is some sort of hypocrisy if on one hand an individual espouses capitalist ideals but then complains about overpriced goods or instances of capitalism that are repulsive. There's not.
Again, that seems to be what you were suggesting- that somehow it is hypocritical to be a capitalist on one hand but dislike a particular endeavour on the other. It's not.
I don't know which threads you're referring to specifically, but if your complaint is that a self-avowed capitalist thinks Eddie's shit is too expensive, again, I don't see the conflict between those two beliefs.
Well now. I could point out that I don't know who you were talking about, since you pussy-footed around it with a general comment, so if you have someone specific you were directing that comment towards, by all means, name names. Until you do, don't expect me to figure it out on my own. Close the loop & I'll know you weren't referring to me

hey I'm an European, that means I certainly live in Rome, listen to Mozart and read Shakespeare, I have a custom tailored Zegna suit and a small Peugeot.
Mexican? I don't follow.

damn dude, I didn't say anything in that context at all.

Again, it was a joke
Yes very nice, but again, this is what I wasn't talking about. You are trying to make a discussion about an half assed remark I made. There's no deeper meaning in it. It is what it is. How can you take it so personally.... unless of course you too bitch in those EVH threads or what?
Surrender accepted! I'll take your advice & not take what you say seriously. Thanks for walking back your original comments- Wasn't my intention that you do so, but it's good that you did.
I wasn't familiar with Zegna- They seem like nice enough suits....are they stereotypically European? At first I thought it was going to be a like a banana hammock or something

Zegna does make awesome suits... very expensive but you know one of the stereotypes about Southern Europeans, specially about Italians was that they are willing to spend their last pennies on a nice suit rather than on a rent, gas or something like that. If you watch Fellini's "I Vitelloni" then there's a bunch of young jobless men in postwar Italy and they all are wearing awesome suits all the time.
By the way, Pacino is a Zegna man too."There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
