But he's good at a very young age which means he has a lot of time to do the work...Last edited by Hellbat; 09-23-2009, 12:27 PM.GTWGITS! - RacerX

talking acoustics: anyone into rosenberg trio?
sure it's another style, more the gipsy-jazz section I'd say but acoustic none the less.
eventhough the lead player can get kind of shreddy...
I dig them a lot. they have some really awesome tracks!!
(and I really love their guitars!! somehow weird/unusual looking but they sound great and make an awesome mix together.)
this young lad above surely kicks ass!! I watched quite a few of his songs and I like his versions usually way more than the originals.
hey, he made even green days september-song sound interessting actually...tremstick give-away (performer series trem)

I love great acoustic playing and I work very hard to sound decent on acoustic guitar. I can't imagine not playing acoustic, I have both a 6 and a 12.
this is more like what got me there, in terms of being inspired

I've never been a big TommyE fan, he's talented but acoustic guitar to me isn't about playing fast. that may be why some very good electric shredders have a hard time with the acoustic. bigger neck, more finger placement precision on chording required, etc.
you have to take your time on acoustic guitar. but when you do the payoff is kickass. it's the kind of playing you can't rush, and it's really the best teacher, as if you can master it on acoustic it's a breeze on the electric. I learn all my new songs and solos for my cover band first on acoustic, it's no hassle, no need to set up the amp, etc, just grab and play.the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
