I got to go to the Canuck's/Blackhawks game on the weekend. The right team won!
I saw some of that as well. I was pulling for Chicago only beacause Vancouver is in reach for the Wings, Blackhawks are not. I was surprised the Nucks beat them that bad with a backend of no namers as 3 of their regular top D were out...
this is what's bugging me right now-
I gotta tell you, there's so much parity in hockey these days, not too much of a drop off from best to worst in the league like
in baseball, football or basketball. I attribute this to 5 on 5 play occuring for about a third of a game with all the insipid
calls they make now. Someone's always on a powerplay, it's too much.
I'd like to think it's more due to the salary cap. Teams definitely seem more evenly-matched these days. I do agree that the hooking/interference calls happen way too often.

Agreed. But welcome to the "new" nhl. Soon theyll phase out fighting and it will be euro-pussy hockey.
Tonight- chicago-san jose for first overall in the league. Go hawks!
Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. LOL
