not to mention the Sharks are natural tankers, they might just get a little too cozy now and fukk things up for themselves.

fell on my face on that one, but it was endrik who threw the initial whammy.

very unlikley Tommy but I'll keep hope alive. I had a dream the night before game 3 that the Wings won the cup so who knows. It will take a miracle, luck for the Wings and extremely bad luck for the Sharks for that to happen and that perfect storm is unlikely.
The Sharks want it and are hungry, Detroit isnt

They had a shot really but all 3 games in the series were one goal games. You can't have a netminder give a soft goal in each of those games, he gave up 2 last night.
Pride may win them a game or 2 in this series but they are not goingto beat San Jose 4 straight games with the way they've been playing in the playoffs this year.
Last nights loss was in part on Mike Babcock. You don't have 2 rookies on the ice with a worthess Jason Williams in an OT of a must win game. Rookie D man joins the rush, Jwil blows a shot high and wide (typicall for him) and the puck comes all the way out to center ice for an odd man rush w/ Rookie D man Ericsson caught in the offensive zone. Big personnel mistake imho. In Scotty Bowmans world, those players would not have seen any action in OT and if they did, not all out there together at the same time

That was a real nice win for the Pens and a solid game by Fleury. It was nip and tuck for a while, and the Habs were in it until the bitter end. Go Pens!!!
On a side note. Any one want to make wagers that Price gets moved to a new home? Halak has been stellar and looks like the real deal.

Spiv, the sticks are breaking because they are not sturdy enough. Last night I saw two sticks break on the same shift, one player was giving a pass and one player was receiving a pass...those dueds should be in the sin bin for breaking their own sticks LOL. It shouldnt be a penalty when someone love taps ya and the PoS composites snap like a toothpick....thats a no harm, no foul call...somethng I'd like to see the refs use better judgement on. Is a one handed hook really impeding a players progress? if not then they shouldn't call it. Let the guys battle a little bit, these games have no flow for all the penalties the refs are calling.

if I were commisioner I'd let them carry and use high compound explosives out there.
you can't take a naturally violent sport and turn it into badminton.

If you could break the guy's stick as a valid defensive play, we'd see 10 broken sticks on every line change.
I hate to agree with Buttman, but they should be going after the puck, not slashing the stick or the man.
Flyers better turn it on or I'm sensing a sweep. The Boston defense has won the first two games.
