Flyers made a great effort last night. I didn't understand the Carcillo trade last summer, but I have to admit that he's a good all-around player and deserves his spot on the first line.

I wanted Montreal in that one, I got a big soft spot (in my head, it seems) for le Canadien. Stephane Richer sent me a friend request on Facebook last month Tough to watch the Devils get that brilliant 'one for the ages' goaltending from Brodeur and and not win the game for him. The Devs can take the Caps, totally own the Pens, but I don't see them getting by the Flyers.

I think that was a good goal they disallowed during the Vancouver / LA game last night. There was no kicking motion in that. I wish they would just say no goals allowed in off the skate. The NHL officials can't tell if its a kick, redirect or last nigth,, just a player stopping.

Worst playoff penalty killing of all time. I don't know how you can kill in the high 80% in the regular season and then drop to 30% in the playoffs. I was worried about Luongo's play leading up to the playoffs and it looks like those worries were well founded.

All season they've been able to get wins coming from behind so hopefully that applies to the playoffs as well. The dominated in the first period last night and then just folded in the second. It was like two different teams.

Well, the sharks have had the #1 seed how many times? I wouldnt call them the "favorites" either. Im predicting a fire sale if they tank in the first round for the 467th time in franchise history
